Here’s my Story: I’ve gained and lost over a hundred pounds in my lifetime. Just not all at once. My nightmare with yo-yo dieting, anorexia, bulimia and binge eating began when I was 12 years old, and I decided I wasn’t skinny enough. I started my first diet, and when I lost weight I was hooked. At 16 I started extreme dieting. I measured everything I ate, and I exercised excessively. It didn’t matter that I only ate 600 calories a day, or that I lost my period, most of the feedback I got was that I “looked great.” I even started modeling. On the one hand I was flattered, but on the other I was devastated. I knew I couldn’t keep it up for long…and I was right.
A year later the bulimia began. I calorie counted, and dieted all week like before, but then I’d eat 5+ meals worth of food in one sitting, and throw it up after. Over time, these binges became more and more frequent, to the point where I was binging and purging almost every single day. I ran up credit card debt paying for binge food. I was a slave to my addiction and my entire life was consumed by feeding it, and hiding it from everyone I knew and loved.
After years of working on my recovery I was able to stop purging, but I deluded myself into thinking I was “cured” because I wasn’t making myself throw up anymore. The truth is, I was still binging on a regular basis. This cycle of restricting, binging and purging, dominated my life for over 10 years.

I spent the past 13 years studying the psychological, neuroscientific, and biological reasons why we keep these destructive behaviors around even though we “know better.” I tested hundreds of tools and techniques on myself when traditional recovery practices failed to do the job. The truth is, it’s entirely up to you. Of course, the more time and energy you put into it, the better it will work. I recommend spending at least 30 minutes per day on average, but if you have busy days where you can only spend 10 minutes, you can catch up on other days. If you can devote more time, do it. These patterns are stubborn, so they won’t go away by themselves, and it will take something from you to shake them up. What I can assure you is that the work will be worth it!
You will be getting emails every day with relevant information, encouragement, and a link to our group coaching platform where assignments will be posted, and you can interact with other participants. You can use it on your computer, or on the app, which is available for iOS or Android. You don’t have to pay extra to use the platform–it’s all part of the package! Once a week I will send an instructional video module that you can watch at your convenience. There will be a live group call weekly, and you will have 24/7 access to group support via the coaching platform.
You won’t be able to hide your identity from me, but if you want to keep your identity a secret from the other participants you can use a false name for the group coaching platform. I get that this is a sensitive issue. You’ll just need to let me know the name you’re using so that I can best assist you.
If you miss a few days because you’re too busy with work, travel, or something unexpected comes up, it’s not a problem.
